Women And Sacrifices

It seems to me that women sacrifice so much for the man they love (and this is okay) however in man situations the man does not do the same. The woman overlooks this sometimes or even makes excuses. Oh he is a man , he is busy, he has other things to worry about. We as women do this alot. We accept our men and love them overlooking all their flaws we love them for them and all they are. However when it comes to some men they can not overlook the womans flaws. They look at the woman that has carried their children keeps a home and works and says you arent what you were when i married you. Are you serious half of the time they arent either but they are quick to pass judgment on you. I have seen this in so many realtionships not my own.

Another think that has me thinking is the cheating man and how he hurts two women and sometimes these two women are so mad at each other that they dont realize they have both been hurt lied to and let down. They continue to treat this man like a king nuture him and meet his every need all while they are slowly breaking down. He sees this but does nothing cause the only thing he rally cares about his him and not the tow women that truly love him with all they have. Instead of being honest he will lie thinking that the lying will hide the truth but women are smarter then that.

I spent so much time hating the woman of the man that i loved that i forgot to realize werther they are happy or not she is still a woman and probably hurts as I do.

My problem with goverment aide~

I have a big issue with the system and how goverment Aide works in some states. It seems like the less you try to better yourself the more money the govermemnt gives you to live. Ive seen so many cases where women work but still could use some aide but the goverment says they make to much money and do not qualify.

For instance say female A does not work does not have kids and has no physical reason she cant work but the goverment gives her food stamps. But female B works goes to school and pays for daycare but because she makes over a certain amount she does not qualify for the simplest forms of aide like WIC or even a daycare voucher.

Speaking of daycare vouchers and head start in some states a non-working parent will get a head start slot or daycare voucher before a working mother. What is their logic that the non-working mother needs to find a job? Please because alot of times she wont, i know some women who just coninue to have kids to get aide.

Of course that is not all cause some women use the system to get themselves established and get off cause in reality the system is not intended for long term use. However some get comfortable and continue to use the tax dollars of hard workingamericans who may need aide but can not get it cause the make over a certain amount of money.

Its funny the goverment can look at your yearly income and say oh she/hemakes to much but to they take into acount commutes to work and school, grocerys, electric, rent and school those are only a few necceseties lets not forget clothes and school supplies.


My problem is not with people that get aide it is the way others cant.

One more example is me as a singel mother i make enough to live I tried to get an apartment fairly new all icluded bills for a three bedroom rent was about 1300 a month but they told me I made to much are you serious they wanted me to make under a certain amount.. WOW thats about 16,000 a year in rent alone and they say you cant make more then 33,000 what in the world who making that can afford that.

Are system is flawed and seems to rather help some of those that dont even want to help themselves but wont help those hard working people that need it.

Why is it that some young black women feel white women dont struggle?

I ask this cause of an incident this morning on the METRO bus. I got on the bus it was packed it was me and my 2 year old daughter, noone attempted to get up and I wasnt to worried I can hold my daughter so I stood there minding my own buisness talking to my daughter.
When someone woman actually Ill call her a broad cause thats what she was acting like made a comment. She said to her friend or whoever next to her "I don't even notice why she here she need to be living with the rest of her people in Norther VA." I thought to myself is this bitch serious?
So I did what only I would do, i turned to the young black women and said " excuse me are you talking to me" She said "you the only white girl on here aint you."
So I stopped for a second and tired to figure out how to go about this tactfully without making a scene because I had my daughter with me. Well Finally I got in the right mind and went on to tell this woman that I dont know where she has been and how ignoreant to real life she is but not all white women are rich. We all dont have husbands and houses. I went on to say in the perfect world I wouldnt want to live here and you wouldn't either but being that its what I can afford I do what I have to do to put a roof over my childs head. And her apporval of me is irrelevant but i told her that it would behove her to shut her ignorant ass up next time cause by looking at someone you can't tell who they are or what they have been through and making an assumption because of somoenes appearence only makes you look like a ASS!
Well she shut up....
But back to my question why do some young black women think a white woman has it easy, we are all women and as a single mother I work go to school and i am the sole provider for my child. I l ive where i live because its what I can afford and was better then moving into SE DC. Not that I have to justify my living situation but the truth is being a single mother is not easy for anyone white. black or yellow. SO why so much hate and animosity towards be cause I live by you? Thats basically what I was getting from this broad.
Can anyone answer my question?

Okay my question after watching the news today 10-29-07 is simple.....

Is the life of a US Member of the Military valued more if they are a officer especially General Officer?



I ask this for one simple reason today Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Dorko was injured in a roadside bomb. This is a daily occurrence in Iraq that the US Military faces and I'm sure several soldiers a week are injured. But not even 12 hours after he was injured CNN was covering the story. As a former soldier and family member and friends of several in harms way daily I was pissed. Not only did they put this info out there but what about the PSD of this General how are they were they injured. We don't know maybe because their family hadn't been notified, so then why put it on the news. I mean the family members of the Generals PSD team know who they protect.



I feel as though the lives of these high ranking officers is valued more then the men and women who deal with the IED threat daily on patrols. I guarantee you the General doesn't go out in his vehicle everyday. And trust me if he does I'm sure he has more security then our average convoy..

Alright yall well this is day one 10-29-07 Ive started this site so we can get togethor as responsible adults and share are thoughts about whats going on in the world today. You all know I like to talk and see what everyone else is feeling or thinking. I wont have a subject posted for today as I just got this up and running but please believe I will tomorrow. Could be talk about your favorite TV show or even your favorite Politician ...LMAO if thats possible.

Well Im sure this will start off with the small circle of friends that I email on the daily but eventually Im sure we can get a few new minds in the meeting! LOL
